Building Dipole’s

It’s construction time again. I’m building another 2m/70cm (slightly modified for 477MHz) this one will act as a PRS and 2m scanner antenna.

Pretty basic in design but the one I use for transmitting on 2m/70cm for my Yaesu has proven to be very efficient and the SWR is sitting around 1:1.2 on both bands. I’m aiming to have this one as close to 1:1 on PRS (477) and not so concerned with the 2m as it’ll only be receiving on that band.

The only thing left to do now, is wire in the elements, tune it up and then weather seal it.
